About

Hokolo - amalgamation of the two cities dearest to my heart – Hong Kong London.

I am Jen, the creative engine behind Hokolo. Mom to Dylan, lover of all things creative, beautiful and tasty! I work from my studio in south London.

Hokolo is a bold and colourful design-led lifestyle and homeware brand founded in 2012. Following a career in architecture, I was searching for what I really enjoyed and loved in life; well-designed, carefully crafted, beautiful timeless and functional objects.

I founded the creative world of Hokolo to express my love of colours, patterns and bold inspiring products. Hokolo designs are unique in featuring striking prints and patterns composed of everyday objects, graphic in nature with a quirky twist, drawing on quintessential and much loved British themes. I am on a mission to inspire people of all ages with my witty, stylish and beautiful creations. Our collections include homeware, interior products and accessories. All products are designed in London and manufactured in the UK wherever possible.

Hokolo’s first collection was inspired by the British Crown Jewels, incorporating the motifs of the crown and the sovereign orb, to create a fresh take on these traditional emblems. The design has been translated into a range of products, from baby clothing, printed greeting cards to home accessories.

The limited edition Christmas collection features some of the best loved symbols of the British Christmas including Brussels sprouts, cranberries and roast chestnuts arranged in witty and striking geometric patterns. A playful screen printed reindeer design has been created from a stylish pattern made up of reindeer antlers and a puffed up red nose.

The English Breakfast collection plays on strong graphic qualities of fried eggs, tomatoes, blueberries and orange slices set against colourful backdrops and gingham inspired patterns reminiscent of the breakfast table cloth and jam jar tops. The designs are bright, modern and playful. The English Breakfast collection includes knitwear and woven products made in Scotland as well as printed products for the home produced in England.

The Woven Wool Collection showcases Hokolo’s signature geometric mid-century inspired patterns on a range of luxurious products made from 100% pure new wool fabric woven in Scotland. The collection of interior accessories include cushions, lampshades and upholstered vintage chairs made in England.
